THE BEING WELL

You can’t play the part; you have to be the part. This is not a thing to be played with, and until you are in the consciousness of being, you will miss out on whatever it is you want. The devil is like a thought that is contrary to the divine thought of God.

Actions cannot change your nature. Only nature can change your actions and your possessions.

You cannot be something by just doing and having things. You cannot be rich just by working hard and saving every penny you get. A lot of people work hard. A lot of people save money. They’re not rich. Why? The same reason you won’t become a dog if you start barking.

Prosperity is a mindset. Abundance is a state of being. Jesus did not come to give you abundance. He came to give you a life of abundance — a state of being. Abundance is not something you can “receive,” it’s something you need to become.

For whoever has, to him more shall be given, and he will have an abundance; but whoever does not have, even what he has shall be taken away from him (Matthew 13:12).

Do you believe you are an abundant being? What does it feel like to be abundant? Use your imagination and start using adjectives to distinguish those feelings (e.g. secured, joyful, etc.)

If you give personality to a lie, the lie would act out in your life. I started having more victory in my life as soon as I stopped blaming the devil for everything that is wrong with my life. For those of us who operate in divine insight, we know the devil is the enemy of our minds. The Bible tells us to give no place to who? The devil. The only place the devil has in your life is the place you give it with your attention.
