THE GREATEST LOVE OF ALL – SELF LOVE

The self love forms the foundation of our single, most important relationship that with ourself. The strength of all our other relationship is exactly equal to the strength of that foundation. To love ourself is not just a self esteem boosting piece of advice.it is prerequisite to truly loving others.

The Golden rule tells us to love your neighbour as you love yourself. We are likely to have heard it many times, expressed in different ways, thinking it is about loving others. Look a closer though and we will find that at its very center is the command to love ourself.

Master Prophet E. Bernard Jordan believes that self love is not being arrogant or egotistical. It is not about comparing ourself to others to determine if we are good enough. It is not about always putting ourself at the expense of others. It is not always getting our way. It is not about always winning. It is not about only after number one. “ But be very careful to keep the commandment and the law that Moses the servant of the Lord gave you: to love the Lord your God, to walk in all his ways, to obey his commands, to hold fast to him and to serve him with your heart and all your soul.” (Joshua 22:5)

To love ourself is to in awe of the miracle of our existence. It is to accept our self as weare the light parts and the dark the good and the bad, while knowing that the real us is above the perceived dualities of the physical realm. It is to be willing to receive as much as we are willing o give and do both equally. It is about knowing our values and our boundaries and honoring them. It is about teaching others how to treat us by showing them how we treat ourself. It is about being kind to ourself. Its about looking after our mind, our body, and our spirit. It is about knowing we are worth it, not because of what we have achieved or what we look like or what others think of us, but because love is our birthright no matter what.

Play Your Part

part“But speaking the truth in love, grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ : From whom the whole body fitly jointed together and compacted by that which every joint together, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.” Ephesians 4:15

If you are a part of the body of Christ, there is an effective measure in you to bring you into the potential that God has ordained for the whole body. You have something to contribute. Oneness comes from Christ’s filling all things. He fills each one of us; therefore we each have a part of Him to give one another. Your Biblical prophecy lets you know which part you are in the body of Christ. Let the power of prophecy guide you.

When we look at the body of Christ, we are reminded that it is not just the body parts that are important; the joints are also vital. What is a joint? It is any place in your body where two parts come together — the knees, the elbows, the knuckles. Individual members of a body don’t mean much.

They need to be jointed together and working as part of the whole body in order for them — and for the body — to function properly. Members in the body of Christ are the same way; in order to function properly they must be brought into relationship with the rest of the body. And without them, the body will not be as effective.

Sometimes we may feel that our part is not important. Yet the Lord has placed each member of the body there for a purpose. And woe to us if we feel that we, or anyone else, is not a vital part of the body; we are then doubting God’s wisdom.

The Prophet’s Shepherd: Walking with God

“My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand.” – John 10:27-28

When you think about it, sheep aren’t the brightest of animals. They’re quite defenseless which is why they need a shepherd to take care of them. Shepherds protect them and know them intimately. They know which ones are prone to go astray and the ones who are obedient. The sheep also becomes familiar with the shepherd’s voice and even his smell. Despite the oddity of sheep, they have a very special relationship with their shepherd. They follow the shepherd’s voice and let him lead them into safe pastures.

Just like sheep, we tend to be lost and unknowing of what’s going on around us. We need utter wisdom and guidance from someone who knows more than we do. A faithful walk with God is a significant factor in the life of a prophet. Prophets need to have a heart that was willing to obey.

In order for us to truly know where we are going and how to live, we need to know what is prophesied for our lives. The power of prophecy will give us the knowledge that we need to live a life that God has intended for us.
