Leading in Ministry

leadingLeading in Ministry – We all have leaders and authority figures. We have one at home, at work, in school and in church. These leaders, especially in the church, serve a purpose. God has specifically appointed them to be leaders for a reason.

We have pastors, teachers, youth leaders, worship leaders, and God chose them all. You might even be one of them. These church minsters are all serving God’s purpose. They are all under God’s prophetic ministry.

Every ruler is a minister of God. We serve so that we can do away with evil. We serve to become a terror to evil. We serve to reward good and to punish evil. However, we do not determine what is evil and what is good. Your written prophecy will highlight that within itself. Many times you will find that when you serve there will be people who will hate you for no reason at all; this comes with the package of ministry. If you are not willing to accept the package, then get out of ministry, thus you are not Leading in Ministry anymore.

Ministry requires that you go more than the extra mile, beyond the call of duty, beyond the realm in which you currently operate (Romans 13:4). Becoming a part of the prophetic ministry will challenge you, but in return you will also grow spiritually and as an individual. It will help you grow in our relationship with God. The power of prophecy will provide the necessary skills and talents that will enable you to fulfill God’s prophetic destiny.

“Do not say in your heart, after the Lord your God has thrust them out before you, ‘It is because of my righteousness that the Lord has brought me in to possess this land,’ whereas it is because of the wickedness of these nations that the Lord is driving them out before you. Not because of your righteousness or the uprightness of your heart are you going in to possess their land, but because of the wickedness of these nations the Lord your God is driving them out from before you, and that he may confirm the word that the Lord swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob.” –  Deuteronomy 9:4-5

It is the minister’s responsibility to execute wrath upon those who do evil, to execute wrath upon those things which are out of order, to execute wrath against those things that are not operating according to Divine law. The minister is called to execute the wrath of God. You have to be willing to execute the wrath of God and to minister judgments. How do you minister judgments? By having a standard.

Bishop Jordan and his school of prophets will help set these standards for you so that you can apply them in your ministry. You free written prophecy will reveal the things that you will need to become prosperous in your prophetic ministry.

Mastering Yourself

Those who succeed in life know how to strategically adjust their lives to their advantage. They know what they want and know how to get it. They have figured out ways to get what they want in the most efficient way possible. These people are masters of their lives. They have achieved a level that not everyone has.

Life is about mastery—of your appetites, your passions, your fears and your ambitions. We are all faced with internal struggles. Do we surrender to our fears or conquer them? Do we give into our baser desires or strive for that which is noble and great? Do we live for next week or have a vision for twenty years from now? Your personal prophecy, you will get to master your life and God’s purpose for you as well. This is what the power of prophecy can do for you.

To life’s constant drama of mastery, you can add self-mastery of your dreams. You are responsible for what you dream and how your dreams play out, because your dreams influence your waking life. Your dream body is your temple, and you should always be master of your temple. Once you begin to master your dreams, you will begin to master yourself, and that mastery will translate into the waking world.

For example, a young husband and father who has not taken good care of his health keeps having the dream that he is a crusader in a pitched battle against a larger force, in his dream, he fights a bloody battle, swords against shields. Finally, one day, he remembers the dream in detail and understands what it means: the army he’s fighting is death and decay, and he needs to change how he is living if he is to defeat them.

The next time he has the dream, he survives the battle and walks away victorious. In his waking life, he suddenly begins eating well and exercising, and gets his body in top condition, ensuring himself a long, productive life.

That is mastery. To take control of your dreams and embrace the message God is sending you through them. Proverbs 16:32 says, “He that ruleth his spirit is better than he who taketh a city.” In other words, the self is the ultimate conquest. Have you discovered yourself? Do you know yourself more than anyone else?
