God is love, to believe in Him is to believe in love. True love is patient and kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self seeking, it is not easily angered, and keeps no wrong records. Love does not delight in evil rejoices with the truth. It is always protects, trust, hope and perseveres. Lover never fails. Love is like faith which is patient, detached, persistent and never failing. Faith and love are the two eternal heavenly things.

Since love energizes faith, the opposite must also be true. The opposite of love is hate. Hate drains faith. Hate will sap the strength out of faith. Our faith is perfect when it is found in the love of God. Faith and love are one. Faith is faith in love and love causes us to have faith. Having one is having the other. We have faith towards where our heart is in. When our hearts is in Him, our faith is in God. To believe in God’s love is to believe in His love for us. It is not His power, glory, or intelligence that our faith is truly in, but it is His love. Because it is only His love that set our heart at rest. When our faith is in His love all else will fall into place.

One of the ways that you bring glory to Him and cultivate our love for God is by worshiping God. Take time to ponder Him. Consider God acts in creation and in the circumstances of our life. Adore God. Sing praise to God. Bless His holy name. Repent our indifference toward Him. Repentance involves a change of heart, direction and mind. Forsake the thoughts, attitude and actions that have drawn our attention away from wholehearted love for God. Receive His forgiveness and renew our commitment to do the first work of our faith.

Ask God to give us attentiveness to His voice as God brings to our attention and direct us to them, in God strength, with God’s love and for God’s glory, as we serve His name, we will know the joy of God, which is our strength. By recalling our salvation experience and our first love for Him can help us to recognize changes that have developed in our relationship with Him since then. Do we have greater or weaker sense of our need for Him now? Are we cooler toward Him and less passionate about spiritual things that once we were.?

The self love forms the foundation of our single, most important relationship that with ourself. The strength of all our other relationship is exactly equal to the strength of that foundation. It is to be willing to receive as much as we are willing o give and do both equally. It is about knowing our values and our boundaries and honoring them. It is about teaching others how to treat us by showing them how we treat ourself. It is about being kind to ourself. Its about looking after our mind, our body, and our spirit. It is about knowing we are worth it, not because of what we have achieved or what we look like or what others think of us, but because love is our birthright no matter what.

Understanding Angels

Angels are sent to multiply the good in your life and to alleviate that which concerns you. Angels appear as a signal that multiplication is happening all around you. Therefore, do not provoke your angels. God sends His angels in your life to bless you.

The enemy is on assignment to deter you from your destiny, and he is not giving up. Appreciating God’s Time

1Man’s history shows how time was used. Time equates to progress. Long ago, man’s first means of transportation was his own two feet; the mode of transportation: walking. Man explored the world first by walking: either in solitude or in groups. Few miles and kilometers were traversed in days.

Now, more than ever, people are breathlessly rushing from one point to the other, from pursuit to pursuit, from one thing to another thing. People of today get so caught up with the activities and things that flood them on a daily basis that the urgency and pressure they experience can easily be felt and recognized, as words or phrases like ‘priority’ and ‘pressing matters’ frequently manifest even in their most casual conversations.

In Ecclesiastes 3, Solomon seems to contemplate on the dynamics of time. He started this chapter with the realization that ‘there is a time for everything’. This seemingly implies that no amount of ‘rushing’ can quicken the occurrence of things; that unless God determines it to be so, it will not be. Even the most coincidental is part of God’s plans; that everything has a purpose and every purpose has its own time.

Being Part of the Kingdom

1“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added. (Matthew 6:33)

Many people go to church and profess to be spiritual; however, many do not possess the kingdom. They do not operate in kingdom principles. The scripture clearly says to seek first the kingdom of God, and then the “things” will be added unto you. How many Bible-believing, church-going, Holy Ghost-filled people do you know living in lack, poor health, poverty and sadness? However, this is contrary to the system that God established in the beginning.

It is vital to develop a kingdom mindset if you want to reign as Christ in the earth. You have to begin to walk in victory and talk in victory. You have to live the kingdom and understand that the kingdom of God is within you. What are you doing with the kingdom that is within you? How are you living? Are you living by kingdom principles or are you living as an earthling? What is important to you, the kingdom or your standard of living?

You must seek first the principles that govern the kingdom of God. Until you find the principles that govern the kingdom of God, you will not see the manifestation of God. God cannot manifest until you get in principle. You are God in principle. But it is important to understand that you are God in principle, not in personality.

What does it take to be seasoned? How would one maintain their flavor in the  kingdom? To be seasoned to be salty is to be preserved by our Savior, and forsaking all to gain all through and by following Christ. If we have one foot on the world and  one foot in the church we cannot serve two masters, we will love one and the other  hate, in turn lose our flavor.

If we were once with God and the persecution and trials tore us down to where we lost our focus and sense of path. We have lost our flavor.  And if we follow false doctrine knowing and witnessing the truth, but still continue  on a path that is not truth, and then we have lost our flavor and our way.

In Mathew 5:13 the Lord said, ” Ye are the salt of the earth; but if the salt have lost his saviour, where with shall it be salted? It is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.”

Bernard Jordan believes that when we have made the choice to live a life that directly reflects that message we bring to the kingdom, and living  what we preach, then it is us who will have the salt given to us by God. TAKE IN THE LONG VIEW

Throughout the book of Genesis the Lord makes his covenantal relationship known to several men. God has plans to bless and prosper the families of Abraham and his son Isaac then Isaac’s son Jacob. The Lord does not bring out his plan due to their immense godliness but instead God only seems to ask we would follow God leading. Abraham is promised descendants that would be as many as the stars in the sky. The ironic piece of course is that Abraham had no children at the time of blessing and would do his best to take matters into his own hands rather than trusting God.

Bishop Jordan believes that imagine God leading us in a particular direction and we believe a place to be at the end of this road, maybe not riches, maybe not fame, but BLESSING. As we head off in this direction none of the blessing ever comes. And maybe just tiniest foretaste of the blessing. This is the reality Abraham, Isaac and Jacob live everyday. The Lord is good but maybe not in every way we had dream of.

The Lord intends to bless us like He did with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. While this may be true consider what exactly is being said when we believe we have entered into the kind of relationship the Patriarchs had with God. It is one of the blessing but maybe not in our lifetime. The Lord has promise us many things but have we ever stopped to consider whether the fullness of those could come after our life have pass?

“And because of his glory and excellence, he has given us great and precious promises. These are the promises that enable you to share his divine nature ans escape the world’s corruption caused by human desires.” (2 Peter 1:4)

God does not wish your Life to pass you by

God does not wish for his followers to have life pass them by. God has given you the gift of life and his love in order to see you be happy and successful. Signs Life is passing you by

They work in their jobs without doing more than the bare minimum. They scrape by in school with the minimum grades to pass. All of these are signs that life is passing your by as day after day you are not finding the joy God wishes you to feel and are also not even trying to find it.

Reach out to God
