Signs of a Breakthrough

What to Look Out For

Breakthroughs are often preceded by uncertainty and breakdowns. They can come when we least expect them and when we are on the verge of giving up. Breakthroughs often manifest as an unexpected solution to a long-standing problem or a sudden insight or understanding that changes our lives.

One sign of a breakthrough is a sense of clarity or understanding. Suddenly, everything becomes clear, and we see a way forward where we previously saw only obstacles. We may experience a surge of creativity, intuition, or inspiration, and we know deep down that we are on the right track.

Another sign of a breakthrough is a sense of excitement or enthusiasm. Moreover, we may feel a surge of energy and motivation and are eager to take action and make things happen. We may feel a renewed sense of purpose and direction and are driven to pursue our goals with passion and enthusiasm.

A third sign of a breakthrough is a sense of alignment or congruence. We may feel that everything is falling into place and that we are in harmony with ourselves, our values, and our goals. Finally, we may feel a sense of peace and contentment, knowing that we are on the right path and that everything is working out for our highest good.

Breakdowns as Opportunities

Life is full of unexpected events, both positive and negative. Breakdowns are one such adverse event that can occur when something is missing or incomplete. Rather than seeing breakdowns as a failure, we should view them as opportunities to reinvent ourselves and build something new. We can transform breakdowns into breakthroughs that propel us forward when we embrace them.

The Risk of Breakthroughs

Breaking through can be risky, requiring stepping outside our comfort zones and taking on more responsibility. However, the potential rewards of breakthroughs far outweigh the risks. By embracing uncertainty and experimentation, we can tap into the raw potential present in our lives and achieve success and freedom.

Standing for Possibility

To achieve breakthroughs, we must stand for possibility and invent our being. This means rejecting the ordinary rules that tell us we must learn slowly and instead embracing the disorder and chaos that follow breakdowns. As we align ourselves with our true identity, the circumstances of our lives will begin to reorder themselves, leading us toward success and personal growth.

Breakdowns: Seeing Possibilities Instead of Limitations

Breakdowns are often associated with failure and can be difficult to navigate. However, they are a chance to rebuild and reinvent ourselves. As Christians, we can turn to our faith and wisdom to help us turn breakdowns into breakthroughs. We can seek the prophetic word and receive personal prophecy to guide us in making decisions that align with God’s will for our lives.

Looking for Causes

Breakdowns do not exist in a vacuum. They are a declaration that something is missing or incomplete. We often look for reasons we fail to live up to our concept of success, resulting in a disempowering perception of ourselves. Rather than seeing mistakes as a “failure of being,” we should see breakdowns as a chance to rebuild and reinvent ourselves.

Breaking Down to Build

Breakdowns often push us to step outside the usual constraints of our circumstances and work toward a goal or objective that we may not fully know how to achieve. Furthermore, they take away things that may have worked for us in the past, forcing us to confront our present circumstances in all their immediacy. Finally, this transforms how we relate to our lives and opens up possibilities and opportunities in every direction.

Breakdowns and Breakthroughs: Navigating Life’s Unexpected Events

Life is full of positive and negative, unexpected events that we call breakdowns and breakthroughs. While breakthroughs are seen as progress, breakdowns are often associated with failure and can be challenging to navigate. As Christians, we can rely on our faith and wisdom to help us navigate life’s unexpected events and turn breakdowns into breakthroughs.

The Negative Side of Breakdowns

Breakdowns manifest as unexpected setbacks, missed opportunities, bad relationships, and more. They represent a significant difference between what we expected to happen and what occurred. When we associate our identity with the feeling of failure, we can compound the negative feelings we experience during a breakdown. Finally, this can lead to frustration, anger, and a lack of focus on what we can correct in the future.

Turning Breakdowns into Breakthroughs

Christians believe God can use all things for our good, even breakdowns. By turning to Him in faith and wisdom, we can navigate life’s unexpected events and turn breakdowns into breakthroughs. Moreover, we can seek the prophetic word and receive personal prophecy to guide us in making decisions that align with God’s will for our lives.

Early Warning Signs of a Loss of Integrity: What You Need to Know

Detecting the Loss of Integrity Early: Warning Signs to Watch Out For

Integrity is a vital aspect of our lives, guiding us to make wise moral, ethical, and spiritual choices. However, in today’s society, it’s becoming increasingly challenging to maintain one’s integrity, given the numerous distractions and temptations that surround us. We hear of high-profile individuals, celebrities, and even preachers caught in embezzlement and sex scandals. It’s a sad state of affairs, but is there a way to detect the loss of integrity early? Let’s explore this topic and discover some warning signs that can help us detect a loss of integrity before it’s too late.

The Desire to Perform Well: A Seemingly Beneficial Trait

One of the earliest warning signs of losing integrity is the desire to perform well. It’s a seemingly beneficial trait that can lead to extreme behaviors such as perfectionism and workaholism. While being responsible and having ideals are good qualities, too much of them can be detrimental. Workaholics can become resentful, curmudgeonly, and withdraw from interacting with others meaningfully. This can cause an erosion of empathy, compassion, and physical health, leading to a loss of integrity.

Perfectionism and Arrogance

Perfectionists, on the other hand, often feel superior and entitled, leading to arrogance and entitlement. This attitude fosters a loss of integrity and can cause people to feel exempt from the standards that apply to others. They may become obsessively fixated on a thought, idea, or action, which significantly threatens one’s integrity.

Future Forward: Prophetic Insights for Tomorrow Leaders

As Christians, we believe that wisdom and God’s will can guide us in wise decisions that honor our moral, ethical, spiritual, and artistic values and principles. At “Future Forward: Prophetic Insights for Tomorrow Leaders,” you’ll learn how to tap into the prophetic word and receive personal prophecy to guide you in your leadership journey. Join us at www.prophecology.com to register for this event and take the first step towards a more integrated life.

Does this sound like you?

Detecting the loss of integrity early is critical for maintaining a balanced and fulfilling life. It’s essential to watch out for warning signs such as workaholism, perfectionism, and obsession, which can lead to a loss of empathy, compassion, and physical health. Do you see yourself struggling with this? Reach out, and we can tap into the prophetic word and receive personal prophecy to guide us in wise decisions that honor our values and principles. Let’s strive to maintain our integrity and be the change we want to see in the world.

Restoring Integrity

The Challenge for Church Leadership & Integrity

It is a difficult time for the church, especially for church leaders. The public failure of a church leader can have disastrous effects on the church’s members. Unfortunately, many church leaders have not taken responsibility for restoring their own and the church’s integrity. As a result, members are left to rationalize their leaders’ unethical behavior or abandon their faith altogether.

Restoration Procedures and Lack Thereof

Some denominations have established specific restoration procedures to combat this trend. However, many independent churches lack clear restoration processes to restore a fallen leader that the congregation formerly looked up to and trusted with their spiritual lives. The restoration process can vary depending on the church, with some leaders refusing to apologize and continuing in ministry without any consequences.

The Image of Christ

Leaders who refuse to take responsibility for their actions are detrimental to the image of Jesus Christ’s church, making it seem like certain people are above God’s judgment. Other church leaders may try to protect the fallen leader or leave the church altogether. However, some strive to restore their own integrity, relying on their spiritual skills to rebuild their credibility and respect.

The Apostle Paul’s Warnings

The apostle Paul warned that overseers must be above reproach and that those who sin should be reprimanded openly. However, he also taught that restoration should be conducted in a spirit of gentleness and humility. Anyone overseeing the rehabilitation of a fallen spiritual leader must also be cautious and avoid the temptation to fall themselves.

Highlight: Beware of the Birds

Highlight: Beware of the Birds

God is the Sower. Ultimately, nothing grows if He did not plant it. He uses people to establish His purposes. Most of the time, He can use you to share the Gospel with your friend. However, it’s also only God who can make things grow.

Sometimes, we are the field by which God sows things. Unfortunately, there are times when we become the birds who snatch away the good that God has planted in the hearts of others.

Who are the Birds?

The church can attract different sets of people. Sometimes, the people are like the birds in the parable of Jesus.

Jesus uses these parables to warn us. There would be members of the church who can steal or kill or destroy what God has been doing. The enemy is like a wolf in sheep’s clothing. Every Christian must be vigilant. In fact, even Christians can be stirred in the wrong direction and become birds at one point in their lives.

Some people may also take advantage of the church community. They become members not because of their faith but because they want to be served. They want to benefit from belonging to the church. However, since there is no genuine repentance and Lordship in their lives, it ends up in chaos. Church leaders must be vigilant that “birds” do not steal the seed that has been planted for the church to grow. Birds snatch up the seed. They steal the seed so they cannot take root and bloom.

As true believers, we can take comfort in the fact that we can ask for wisdom from God. We must be careful to weed out such people so that they don’t steal away the fruits that have the potential to grow in our lives. God can sow a prophetic word in your heart, but birds (fear or doubt) can snatch them away. Nevertheless, birds have a purpose in the story.

Jesus still allowed the presence of Judas Iscariot as one of his chosen twelve even when he knew that Judas was bound to betray him (Jn. 6:70). This shows us that Jesus, in fact, allows or permits evil to coexist with good under his sovereignty and use it for his purposes.

Highlight: The Mustard Seed

Seed: In the last post, we talked about how it is crucial to plant good soil for the seed to grow.  Sometimes, we are the farmer who can sow seeds of the Gospel in the hearts of others when we interact with them. In other times, we are the field by which God Himself sow greatness. In both cases, if the soil of the field is hard, nothing will grow.

The Mustard Seed

Scholars note that it is odd to call a mustard a tree. The fact is it’s only grown to be a shrub. Jesus certainly did not make a mistake in his word choice. The people who were listening to him understood that mustard seeds don’t really grow into trees.

This metaphor implies that a mustard seed growing into a tree is unnatural and could not happen if agricultural laws apply.

If you notice this, you’ll see Jesus’ warnings. There will be many churches and Christians that seem to grow unnaturally. While we can chalk this up to the supernatural grace of God, this can also mean that there are perversions in the way Christians and churches are produced.  Jesus wants to warn Christians about this unnatural way of being.

Shrub vs. Tree Potential

A shrub differs from a tree.  In the same way, the Holy Spirit develops a true Christian. This individual will differ from one who has a superficial faith. The Christian can live and make decisions by the grace of God. Conversely, the other who claims to be Christian is only borne out of good works and trivial human effort. Somehow, a part of us shrivels in discomfort when we enter a church or encounter a Christian that may appear God-honoring on the outside but is truly self-gratifying on the inside. Even the least discerning of us get uncomfortable around certain people because we know that the way they present themselves is fake and unnatural.

The Lack of Authenticity in the Church

When watermelons grow naturally, they are oval in shape, full of seeds, and are covered by a green, striped outer skin. Yet these days, we will find watermelons that are square, seedless, and monochromic. These are unnatural, produced by the interference of human hands. While we enjoy eating a seedless watermelon for its convenience, watermelons were never really designed or created to be this way.

In the same way, some churches have become perverted when it comes to their doctrines, values, and objectives; thus, they take on a new nature – one that is not of God. They may identify as a church of Christ in the same way that the mustard tree is identified as something that stemmed from the mustard seed, but the way they present themselves and what makes them up differ. They grow because they placed their own hands in the process.  As a result, we will encounter churches with resounding accusations of secularism, manipulation, abuse, purposeful connection with authoritative figures to acquire power, and unnecessary extensive expenses on marketing and advertising.

The Sower, The Mustard Seed, The Field, The Tree, and The Birds

Variables in the Parable of the Mustard Seed

Five variables made up the parable:

  1. the sower,
  2. the mustard seed,
  3. the field,
  4. the tree,
  5. and then the birds who come over to live in it.

Bible scholars agree that the sower in this scenario is Jesus, while the mustard seed is the Gospel.

The parable speaks of how the seed grew into a tree, and science shows us that it can grow up to twenty feet tall.

This is substantial growth considering that it came from a seed with the size of just 1 millimeter in diameter.

And once the tree grows big and sturdy, birds start to flock to it and build their nests in it. Interestingly enough,  the author referred to the birds as the wicked ones in another parable (Matt. 13:4, 19). We must take note of these as we will address their vitality later on in this chapter.

Some preachers take this parable and make it a case for how God will grow big things out of the small that we plant. And to an extent, this concept is Biblical.

In another parable recorded in the Gospels, Jesus makes it a point to say that those who can be entrusted with little will be entrusted with much (Lk. 16:10). This means that if we stay faithful with whatever has been given to us now, God will eventually expand our capacity and entrust us with more.

The Field

However, if we take it strictly, we will find that we are not the sowers. Rather, we are the field in which the mustard seed has been planted.

Once Jesus plants the seed of the Gospel into our lives, it will grow within us and take deep root in our lives. What is important to note here is that the mustard seed is pungent and fiery. And in many ways, this is an accurate depiction of the Gospel once applied to our lives.

The Bible contains many commands and passages about God, what is expected of us, and what He created humanity to be that we wrestle with it. In fact, it is the reason why many people who encounter it choose to turn away from it – it burns, and it makes us squirm.

The quality of the field when the sower plants the seed is crucial. Here, we can draw a parallel to another insight given to us by Jesus through the parable of the sower:

3 And he told them many things in parables, saying: “Listen! A sower went out to sow. 4 And as he sowed, some seeds fell on the path, and the birds came and ate them up. 5 Other seeds fell on rocky ground, where they did not have much soil, and they sprang up quickly, since they had no depth of soil. 6 But when the sun rose, they were scorched; and since they had no root, they withered away. 7 Other seeds fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up and choked them. 8 Other seeds fell on good soil and brought forth grain, some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty. 9 Let anyone with earslisten!” (Matthew 13:3-9)

The Farmer or the Seed Won’t Matter If the Soil is Bad

If the farmer planted the mustard seed on any other soil other than good soil, it wouldn’t really have borne good fruit.

We see this in the numerous people who attend church but don’t really stay.

God can use you to the tiny seed of the Gospel in other people’s hearts. However, if the state of their souls makes it impossible for these seeds to really take root and grow, then it won’t.

This can be discouraging for Christians to watch, especially if the fields still appear dry. However, we can rest in this: we can faithfully water the seeds God plants, and God will make them grow.

Breaking Down the Parable of the Mustard Seed

What does the mustard seed teach us?

Countless churches and Christians today look to the parable of the mustard seed. We must take cues from the values that Jesus was presenting to the early believers when he spoke of it.

Still, the parable has important facets that we can only understand if we have the same context and knowledge as the ones who initially heard it.

While most had come to understand and appreciate how the mustard seed was the smallest seed known when this parable was given, there are elements that we do not inherently know due to cultural differences.

Agriculture was an important topic for the listeners of Jesus. The listeners knew the specific traits and functions of the different kinds of seeds.

For instance, apart from the fact that the mustard seed was known for its size, its quality was also something that was to be noted. Apparently, it is also famous for being an irritant.

Should it touch a person’s skin, it can cause contact dermatitis. The place of contact will turn red and feel as if it is burning. In modern times, we mix it with vinegar, oils, wine. People need to mix other spices with it before the public can commercially consume the seed.

Small in size but with great potential

Legend tells us that when Darius, the king of Persia, invaded Europe with his army, he sent a bag of sesame seeds to Alexander the Great to symbolize that there are as many soldiers in his army as there are seeds in the bag. Stepping up to the plate, Alexander sent back a bag of mustard seeds to Darius as a way of saying that while their army may be many, his army is biting and fiery. Such was the case for the mustard seed – small in size but large in potential.

THE SILENCE OF THE COMMUNITY

I want you to think about it. Do you think it is the current silence of the African-American community — keeping one’s heads down — throughout different hate crimes and racially-segregated police violence and injustices that are keeping the abuse alive? Dr. King was on to something when he said, “A genuine leader is not a searcher for consensus but a molder of consensus.”

Once members of our community begin to take a stand against our oppressors, then the oppression would cease. Leaders of the African-American Church must not keep their heads down and let this pass. They must take a stand for the dignity and value of the African-American preachers who were the object of ridicule of The Word Network’s CEO.

Together, we can make a difference for the country today, not only for our generation but for generations to come. On the other hand, the silence of the community signs on to the oppression of the people for our children’s children, and beyond.

A  Call  for Unity is a Call for Brotherhood in the faith

Charles Marsh wrote in his book, The Beloved Community, “Although a boycott was necessary for Montgomery to bring an end to discriminatory laws, King urged the church people in the movement to keep in mind that a boycott and its achievements do not in themselves represent the goal.” In the last days of the historic Montgomery Bus Boycott, Dr. King said the goal was reconciliation, redemption, and the creation of a beloved community. For him, the pursuit of civil rights for African-Americans was significantly a spiritual journey. He also saw this as an opportunity to unite the nation after years of division from oppression and hatred.

We are in a season where we must take a stand for African-Americans as a people of the United States. In order to be truly united as a nation, we are calling for the boycott of The Word Network because it promotes a culture that tolerates bigotry and racism. The toleration of such discriminatory mindsets and behavior only separates Blacks from Whites. Unless people — Black AND White — take a stand and say, “No, this is not right. The CEO and president did an offensive and discriminatory thing,” how can there be true unity in the country? When people “get over” a mass media mogul calling himself a pimp with Black preachers as his “hoes” and look the other way, what does it say for us as a nation?

Today, you can download the eBook ” America’s Original Sin “. Read more about the silence of different communities that do not take a stand for the injustice that happens in America.

Take a Risk
Taking Chances, Taking Risk

Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. Roman 12:2

If you want to shrink something, you must first allow it to expand. If you want to get rid of something, you must first allow it to flourish. If you want to take something, you must first allow it to be given. This is called the subtle perception of the way things are. This is by Tao Te Ching. When you have big shoes to fill there is no going back. I heard your name in the spirit, and the spirit told me to tell you that your choice matters, it is a word that allows yes and the word that makes things possible. Your choices means taking risk and taking a leap of faith on the things that you want to do. Your choices will always matter in your life that is why you have to make sure of the things that you have to make. There are choices that will lead you into greater things.

You will have the right to stand on your own feet, and you will begin to discover that the power of choice was the gift that I gave to you the moment you set foot on the planet. You have not always used this power wisely or been aware of the gift that I have given unto you. However, this is the day that I open up your eyes and cause you to discover the opportunity that is in your possession, and I will cause you through the power of your tongue to begin to behold a new picture that you will begin to design for your life saith the spirit of Almighty God.

You have the right and the capability to transform your life through the choices that you make. No matter when and what the circumstances, you have the capability to take risk and grab the opportunities that come your way. Sometimes it is just hard for you to make decisions or to choose on the choices that you have because you are afraid to take risks. You are afraid to jump on something that you do not see. Life is about taking chances and making choices. To be able to make decisions even if the choice that you have is hard to choose, take time to think and do not be impulsive and what you are going to do. Take full responsibility and be in charge of your life.

CHALLENGES AHEAD
Face the challenges

We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted, but not to say can; struck down, but not destroyed. 2 Corinthians 4:8 – 9

Taking a stand can be unpopular, but faith will bring your justification. Before I give you the lesson for the day I need to ask you some personal questions because of the next season I see you are about to walk in. Often times when God was to move a man for one season to the next, he asked him a question. The response to the question will determine how ready the next season is prepared to have you stand for the next season.

What are your challenges in life that you encounter as you take a stand?
How do you overcome these challenges?
When trials come your way, how do you embrace it?
How do you manage to accept the bad with the good that you expect?

I hear the Lord saying get ready for I am making you a new individual of greatness in boldness because you are not afraid to face to challenges of your day. I see greatness around you but it is important for you to see it for you. I am reminded of one of the women of the year named by Time magazine was Corazon Aquino, a former president of the Republic of the Philippines and a woman who for the good fight, standing firm against all the challenges that she faced in life. Aquino used to be a plain housewife who does not want to be involved in politics not until her husband was killed fighting for democracy. She took a stand not just for herself but also for the benefit of an entire nation.

When Aquino became the president, criticisms, riots and cool attempts are just few of the challenges that she faced, yet she did not flee from any of it. She managed to face and embrace every challenges, big or small and kept her stand. Aquino is just one of the many who took a difficult stand and position in life. Some people find it easy to take a stand while others find it hard. However, taking a stand is not really a big thing; if one easily falls down is a challenge come in. Challenges are inevitable, and he can either strengthening you or break you. You are to face and embrace failure and sacrifices without giving up. Keep in mind that the strength of a building can only be tested and proven by how a standstill despite the changing and challenging seasons.

To take a stand is to enjoy the success that it brings and also to endure the pain and failures that goes with it. Riots and criticisms may arise as you have taken the stand but remember that you are not a loser when you cannot withstand such things. We only become losers when we give up. It is very important that you get this lesson right now and right here. Challenges are inevitable in life and when it comes, we must be ready for it. However ready or not, we have to face it.

So, take your stand and face everything that it brings to your life. I am now requesting that you take on a faith action and face the challenge of the right now. Go ahead and fill up the form for you to receive a free prophecy reading. When you do this it will bring you into a place of new expectation because the word is only committing you to a future that has not been born yet but is in route to you the moment you have gathered in your mind the seed within your experience.

What stops you from doing this? Because whatever that one thing is that stops you in life it is stopping your will. That one thing has the potential to stop you in every phase of your life. As you receive a word from the Prophet, the power of prophecy will help you achieve the life you want to. Remember your destiny is not left up to chance it is a matter of choice and as you begin to make the choice of this, it is committing you to a future that has not been born yet but a future that is in route to you because you have started reading this message now the final action is the act of faith that you fill up the form so that I can release the prophecy that is about to show up in your life.
